Virtarix VPS and VDS services do not support mail-server workloads. Email ports are blocked. Do not use these services for SMTP servers, SMTP relays, self-hosted email, transactional email, newsletter sending, bulk email, or other email-server hosting.
What the restriction covers
This is a workload restriction, not an instruction to move the same mail-server configuration to a different port. It applies whether the proposed server would send mail, receive mail, relay messages, or host mailboxes. Do not configure the Virtarix VPS/VDS as any part of an email-server delivery path.
The current policy does not publish an alternate email port, an unblocking request, or an exception process. Attempting to bypass the restriction with another port, relay configuration, tunnelling method, or similar workaround does not make the workload supported.
Why port 25 is named
Port 25 is associated with SMTP traffic between mail servers. Internet-facing SMTP infrastructure is frequently targeted for spam and other abuse, and abusive delivery can damage IP reputation or lead to provider blocklisting. Virtarix therefore identifies port 25 in this policy, but the service boundary covers email-server workloads and email ports generally.
Blocking email ports does not mean Virtarix operates or certifies the customer's application, security, delivery configuration, sender reputation, or external email account. Virtarix provides self-managed VPS/VDS infrastructure, and the customer remains responsible for the software and integrations they run on it.
Use a separate email service
Websites and applications that need password resets, account notices, receipts, monitoring alerts, or other email delivery must use a separate external email service. Select and configure that service according to its own current documentation and keep its account, authentication, domain records, sender controls, and delivery monitoring separate from the Virtarix VPS/VDS mail-server role.
Use a separate external email service for email delivery. Do not configure the Virtarix VPS as the mail server or SMTP relay.
